Some weddings feel extra special, not because of scale or grandeur, but because of the meaning they hold.
Louise and Blair’s wedding in New Zealand was one of those moments.
Set within a lush garden and surrounded by nature, their ceremony was warm, relaxed, and deeply personal. From the very beginning, Louise and Blair were clear about what mattered most to them: authenticity, connection, and creating a ceremony that truly reflected who they are as individuals and as a couple.
As their celebrant, my role was to hold space for that story. To guide the legal elements seamlessly, while allowing their personalities, their love, and their shared journey to take centre stage. Standing there with them, delivering their ceremony beneath the trees, was a reminder of why I do this work.
Every couple deserves a ceremony that feels like them, not scripted, not generic, but thoughtful, inclusive, and intentional. Whether it’s an intimate gathering, a destination wedding, or something beautifully simple, the heart of the ceremony should always remain the same: a moment of connection, witnessed and honoured.
Louise and Blair’s wedding was filled with joy, laughter, and an ease that only comes when two people are truly aligned. I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful day and to have shared in a celebration that crossed borders and brought loved ones together in such a beautiful way.
If you’re planning a wedding and looking for a celebrant who will take the time to understand your story and bring it to life with warmth and professionalism, I’d love to hear from you.
